As a child, Jordan had asthma and went on to develop acne. He was also dealing with on-going anxiety and depression that at the time, he didn’t really understand was affecting his life. During the time he was attending University, Jordan suffered multiple concussions and that brought all of his health issues to light.
Jordan was then diagnosed with sub-clinical hypothyroidism and as he described it “his life was in shambles”. Jordan began to take control of his health, start his research into improving his brain health and is no longer hypothyroid, anxious or depressed.
Jordan is now a brain and mental health journalist and the founder of Optimal Living Dynamics. His work has been featured in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, Canadian Pharmacists Journal, and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
Jordan spends a lot of time scouring medical research, writing about what he finds, and testing different theories on himself. His passion is discovering valuable, cutting-edge health solutions and sharing them with people that desperately need them.
I really enjoyed my talk with Jordan and he has lots of great information on his website to help people get better brain health.
